The Game of Ama-Dom

Adorned with the intricate designs of GOND tribal painting style , this painting depicts the folk story of Gond tribe about the popular game of ' Ama Dom' which has been played since the times of Mahabharat. In this game, the winners throw the stick under the tree and climb the tree. The loser must climb the tree and touch the winners. If the winners could jump off the tree and touch the stick before being touched by the loser, they would be again declared as winners. Else, they will be declared a loser and in turn will have to chase the winners.
